Home Ec Ramen Soup


This is the first Home-Ec recipe that my kids brought home and shared with me.  I guess my daughter thought it was worthy enough to make again.  So she did and it was fabulous.


Home-Ec Ramen Soup


  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2/3 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/3 cup frozen corn
  • 1/3 cup frozen peas
  • 2 pkg Ramen noodles
  • 1 tsp minced fresh parsley



  1. Boil water.
  2. Add carrots and boil for 4 minutes
  3. Add celery and boil for 4 minutes
  4. Add mushrooms, corn and peas, then boil for 3 minutes
  5. Add the parsley and Ramen noodles, be sure to remove the season packets, boil for 3 minutes
  6. Remove from heat and add in 1 season packet
  7. Serve hot
