These tasty little treats are a great recipe to make with the kids.

For one reason, they’ll love running their hands in the batter and rolling it into balls.

My son who is now a teenager still likes making these and has been helping me since he was a little boy.

This recipe is about ten years old. Even before cookie dough was a big thing, and you know how big it is these days.

Everyone is talking about it. It’s now sold in the refrigerated department in the grocery stores. Of course, there’s bunches of recipes all over the internet.

There is even a store in New York City that only serves cookie dough. Every flavor you can imagine.

A few years ago, a friend sent my family a gift from that store and we had a fun and delicious time eating it all up.

We’ll, the first time I made these particular cookie dough balls, I was thinking of something tasty and healthy for my kids to have as a snack to bring to school or an after school snack.

At the time, my daughter was 17 and my son 6. My niece Cara used to watch my son Josh when he was little a few days after school.

We were all the kitchen at the same time while I was making these. So, perfect time for them to taste my first go at it.

To say the least, they loved them.

Who doesn’t love digging into some cookie dough? I can’t think of anyone.

I made these into bite size balls. It makes them even more fun and yummy to eat.

These are made without raw eggs or raw flour and has great textures from the dried fruit and chocolate chips.

However, this recipe is very versatile, you can add your favorite dried fruit, nuts, chips.  They come out so scrumptious; you’ll find it hard to just have one!
