Sautéed String Beans and Cashews

Sautéed String Beans and Cashews

Looking for a perfect side dish? These Sautéed String Beans and Cashews are so delicious for any entrée. Quick and easy to prepare and oh so delicious. A family favorite for holidays and simple enough for weeknight meals.

Here is a simple side dish that takes no time at all to throw together and tastes elegant and divine.

Just like one you would have in a fine dining restaurant.

See and taste for yourself. You will adore this simple and delicious recipe.

For a main dish, add some grilled chicken, steak, or shrimp. Works for any cuisine. For vegetarian or vegan, toss in some cubed tofu or tempeh.

The skies the limit with this shortcut recipe.

I chose cashews for this recipe because they sauté well and most importantly, they have a wonderful delicate, almost buttery consistency yet, a lovely bite. Just the right amount of crunch factor.

I think it’s great to use frozen veggies on busy weeknights for the perfect shortcut side dish.

The recipes always come out just right when using freshly frozen sting beans. You can see how vibrant the beans look. Using the frozen green beans always gives me a vibrant green color with the perfect snap when you bite into a sautéed sting bean.

Enjoy watching the video at the end of the recipe. This was the first video my daughter Tori and I made together. Videos have come a long way since this was made but, it will always be one of my favorites because we made them together.

Can this recipe be doubled, tripled or even more for larger crowds?

It sure can.

You would need a large sauté or any frypan to double the recipe.

Depending on the size of your pan, you may even be able to triple the recipe at that time.

If not, make a batch or two and just keep going until you have the amount you want.

It’s so simple, you would just double, triple, etc all the ingredients that are listed for a perfect sautéed sting bean and cashews dish.

Can I Use Fresh String Beans?

Of course you can.

You would need to parboil them first. Just to soften up with still having a nice crisp to each bean. Then, follow recipe as stated.
