Skinny Oreo Cheesecake Balls

 Skinny Oreo Cheesecake Balls

Indulge without the guilt with these skinny Oreo cheesecake balls. They are hard to resist, enjoy the creamy, crispy, Oreo deliciousness!

Cheesecake lovers look out!

This recipe is so easy to make with only 4 ingredients.

It’s also a fun recipe for the kids to participate in. I have served this many times for company. Adults love these as much as the kiddos do.

My family and I love cheesecake, especially an Oreo cheesecake. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t for that matter. LOL!

So, to begin with how I started using Oreo Thin Crisps. One day while shopping in my local grocery store, I happen to be standing in front of the boxes of Oreo Thin Crisps which were right near all the other Oreo Cookie varieties.

There was a women standing next to me and she went to grab a box so I asked her if she had bought these before and what she thought of the Oreo Thin Crisps.  She said she loved them and since they were lower in fat and calories than a regular Oreo, why not? I said back to her, why not? We both laughed. I grabbed a box and since then, I’ve grabbed a many more since that day.

I am so glad to have found these packets of  Oreo Thin Crisps because we make a lot of these Skinny Oreo Cheesecake Balls throughout the year.

We also like to crush them and sprinkle them over ice cream and vanilla pudding. Sometimes when I want to be a little indulgent with my vanilla yogurt, I crunch some on that too.

Don’t get me wrong, I still eat regular Oreo cookies, we all do. You will find a bunch of Oreo recipes on my blog since we do love Oreo cookies so much. I posted a few down below and you can type in Oreo in the search button on the top right.

These Crisps do the trick in the Oreo cheesecake balls.  They give the coating a nice crunch and even on the inside. Make a batch soon, you will be so happy you did. They really do taste like Oreo cheesecake!

Just a note.. recently I bought a bunch of these Oreo 100 packs on Amazon for a really good price. If for some reason you can’t find them in your local market or online, you can always replace Oreo Thins for this recipe. However, the nutritional content and WW Points will change but, not by too much.

Here’s how to make some…

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese with a hand held electric mixer. Slowly add in the powdered sugar.
  2. Add vanilla extract and mix until well combined and fluffy. Set in fridge for a few minutes while you get the crisps ready.
  3. In a mini food chopper, add two of the Oreo bags and pulse until they are a crumb-like consistency.
  4. Take the cheese mixture out of the fridge and pour the crumbs into the bowl. Use the electric mixer again and mix until all is combined.
  5. Cover the bowl and place in fridge until the mixture sets up so that you are able to roll into them little balls (should take about an hour or two).
  6. Take remaining two Oreo bags , place in food chopper and do the same as the previous two bags (see step 3). Spread out on a plate and remove your mixture from the fridge. Roll out 20 balls around the plate of crumbs until nicely coated. You will have enough Oreo crumbs to cover all 20.
  7. Have a tray lined with wax paper and place coated treats on the tray. If you’d like, you can put a toothpick or thin Popsicle stick in them, or just serve as a fun finger food dessert. The crispy coating will only last for the first day, so keep this is mind. Can be stored in fridge up to 2 days.
