Turkey Frank And Bean Casserole

Turkey Frank and Bean Casserole

Here is a new version of an old time classic. Made with two kinds of beans and turkey hot dogs. Still totally delectable just a little bit different. Try this turkey frank and bean casserole, you are going to love it like you do the original recipe.

This was one of my favorite dishes my mom made us when we were growing up.

She always had French fries and corn on the cob along with this dish.

Now, I make this for my family and it’s a family favorite. I switched out the beef for turkey this time and used vegetarian baked beans and cannelloni beans instead of regular baked beans along with cannellini beans for added fiber and protein.

Guess what? It’s just as delicious as my classic recipe for franks and beans and this dish even tastes similar but that frank and bean casserole is made with beef hot dogs.

I gave you calorie count with other nutritional amounts along with Weight Watchers Points.

Here’s a few suggestions on serving this turkey frank and bean casserole…

Like I said above, my mom would serve this with french fries that she made from scratch and corn on the cob which she always boiled then spread just a little bit of margarine, not butter on each piece of corn.

My family likes the french fries or steak fries but, I buy the frozen packages and season myself.

I spray lightly with olive oil then season with all purpose seasoning salt and garlic powder.

Bake as per directions on the package.

Also, my kids like corn on the cob or corn mixed with green peas. Nothing on them. And, of course crescent rolls.

They love dipping the crescent rolls into the thick sauce in the casserole.

I hope you make this for your family and enjoy as much as we do.

One more thing to mention about this recipe and my original classic frank and bean casserole…

It’s a great addition to any barbeque, pool party, picnic, and potluck dinners. It’s always the biggest hit!
